I was born and raised in Cortlandt Manor, New York where I attended Hendrick Hudson High School. I then went on to earn my Bachelor's degree at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. I have lived all over the place - New York, Colorado and Thailand to name a few - and currently reside in Dallas, Texas, where I play pickleball and do standup comedy.
Once upon a time, I was a middle school science teacher. Though I am no longer a teacher, I will forever be an
educator. I have seen how amazing the world is, and I try to share my experiences with everyone. If I can impart my passion onto even one other person, then I have done my job.
A kidney transplant will restore my health and will allow me to live a normal life again. A kidney transplant will enable me to live a long healthy life and continue helping others. Most people have two healthy kidneys but can live a normal active life with only one. For that reason, kidney transplants have become routine in saving lives of people with kidney disease. Kidney donors typically spend two days in the hospital and soon normal activities.
